Abstract:

This two-hour DVD explores the workings of an extremely talented community of artists from Asia and America. You will witness a series of workshop sessions in which artists engage in the process of collaboration, experimentation, and creation. Artists draw from traditional, contemporary and original source materials and, by the end of the six-week session, create collaborative projects. APPEX focuses on creative process rather than product, therefore most of the work on this DVD records the ich interaction of these highly creative individuals. || Artists featured include musicians, dancers, and performers from Cambodia, China, India, Tibet, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, and the U.S.
