Abstract:

This [and the other two books: Chinese Patterns and Indian Textile Patterns] offer something new in the way of graphic design: each book illustrates in color approximately 75 designs for use in creating printed textiles, embroideries, graphics, computer art, backgrounds for a variety of uses, and other decorative arts. In an envelope at the back of each book is a CD-ROM of professionsal quality and high resolution, containing all the images for use with either Mackintosh or Windows; they are availabel for use copyright free.
