Abstract:

Everyone has distinct memories of childhood: A fight with your best friend, a silly game with your neighbors,  that moment when you just can't figure out the answer to "9 minus 6." For a group of Taiwanese aboriginal kids from the eastern part of island, their memory is days on the baseball field. With a swinging bat and an attempt to hit a ball, this group of kids is inducted into a lifelong passion for a beloved global pastime. Director Shen Ko-Shang and Liao Ching-Yao put the audience in the best seats in the house as they invite us to witness these children's simple, carefree moments of play before heading into adolescence.
