In Tanzania, brick factories are threatening forests as wood is needed for the firing process, now a new design of kiln is burning agricultural waste - providing materials for permanent homes without causing deforestation. In Bangladesh, microcredit is allowing small businesses to flourish around solar electricity systems, making them more productive.
