Abstract:

While Korea was under Imperial Japanese colonial rule from 1932-1945 more than 200,000 Korean women were forced into sexual slavery.  Often a blanket was their only "furniture" in rooms where they were forced to have sex with 30-40 men daily.  A few brave women have come forward with their stories in this film, in addition to a few Japanese soldiers that raped Korean women during this time.  The Japanese government has not yet formally apologized or given any reparations to these women.
