Abstract:

A filmmaker paints a portrait of 'B', a lesbian in a longtime friendship with the filmmaker, in the hopes of talking about lesbian identity through images. B is living with her partner of 8 years, but she is in a constant anxiety that her partner may leave her and get married to a man at her family's insistence. Heterocentrism and homophobia start eating at their bond. The film shows their life of struggle against heteronormative perspectives toward their  relationship. The filmmaker's own experience, reflected in B's lesbian experince, opens up ground where individuals can be united as 'we'. 'We' are a minority that our society leaves invisible, but we finally become the subjects who voice the selfreflective statement of the film.--So-in Hong, Korean Film Guide 2008
