Abstract:

A documentary portrait of four Bangladeshi teenagers growing up in the Lower East Side of New York City. Initially started as an after-school workshop at a local high school, the film follows Mahfuja, Jemi, Saleh and Maroofa as they travel between home and school, and as they negotiate their lives as young immigrant teens in post 9-11 America.
