Abstract:

Thousands of Allied soldiers faced death after capture by the Japanese on the Bataan peninsula in 1941. Only 500 prisoners in the Cabanatuan camp lived to be rescued by U.S. Army rangers at the end of World War II. Their valiant struggle to survive the tortures, disease, deprivation, and brutality is ermembered in this stirring documentary.
