Abstract:

Over the course of one night, a group of common men become heroes. In the midst of an invasion, ordinary men are forced to don military uniforms and wield empty weapons as the advance guard of the under-equipped army. Their job is simple: a human shield for the troops behind them. Pushed to the front they are forced to endure the pain and horror of war.
