Abstract:

Part 9 of the series, The Celestial Empire: Path of the Dragon || Is Confucianism- the moral system at the root of Chinese civilization- a religion or a philosophy? This episode seeks to answer that question, while explaining the basics of the code and examining how it has survived centuries of foreign religious influences and competing domestic ideologies to remain the code adhered to by all Chinese people.
