Abstract:

A Buddhist Monk preaches non-violence and forgiveness to rural villagers, Khmum-Chachak rebels, and National Army soldiers in the recent civil war. After the Khmem-Chachak destroy a village, the monk enlists the help of a government official, who sends troops to attack the rebels. The ensuing warfare causes many innocent civilians to be caught in the midst of brutal attacks by the warring Army and rebel forces. Based on real events, this film is a powerful plea against the violence and brutality of war
