Abstract:

"This is a powerful and vivid illustration of why so many Vietnam veterans came back emotionally and psychologically scarred. Steve Bentley served in Vietnam in the U.S. Army, 588 Combat Engineers. We see him speaking to a college class on his experiences, which are illustrated with graphic pictures of what "hell" really is. He is also working with veterans who have Post Traumatic Stress Disorders. He feels that as a member of Vietnam Veterans of America and on the National Advisory Commission for Veterans of Peace, his illustrated lectures about the reality of war before hundreds of high school and college students is one way to work for peace."
