Abstract:

A supernatural fantasy set in older China. A tax collector, Ling Choi Sin (Cheung), is forced to stay at the haunted Lan Ro Temple when a heavy rainstorm whips up. There he meets and mutually falls in love with a beautiful lady ghost, Lit Siu Seen (Wang), who is under the control of a vampire tree spirit who depends on Seen to bring her victims. With the help of a Taoist monk (Ma), Seen must fight to free his love from evil.
